On the morning of June 22nd, under the theme “Promoting the Spirit of Craftsmanship, Striving to Achieve Dreams”, the JCME 2024 Staff Skills Competition was officially launched. The opening ceremony was attended by Jin Chunyu, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee and Chairman of the Labor Union; Nie Xiaoxi, Secretary of the Party Committee of the School of Industrial and Trade Technicians; officials from the Party and Mass Work Department, Vice Chairman of the Labor Union, Deputy Minister of Organization (Human Resources) Department; and part-time Vice Chairman of the company’s Labor Union.
The competition, jointly organized by the company’s labor union and the Organization (Human Resources) Department, with specific arrangements by the Industrial and Trade Technician College, includes seven categories such as machining center operators, CNC lathe operators, tool fitters, welders, electricians, CAD mechanical design, and office software (Office), with a total of 216 employees participating. The competition aims to strengthen the construction of skilled talents and deepen the reform of the industrial workforce. It effectively utilizes vocational skills competitions for talent cultivation, selection, and motivation. This initiative is aligned with the company’s 14th Five-Year Talent Development Plan, JCME Skill Talent Team Building Plan, and JCME Plan for Further Deepening Reform of Industrial Workforce Construction, aiming to cultivate a highly skilled workforce that meets the company’s development needs and promotes high-quality enterprise development.
